Taylor’s & Company FS Tactical 1911: Now in 10mm!

Taylor’s & Company just announced the latest update to its FS Tactical line of 1911 pistols. The old warhorse gets a new chambering in 10mm, a round that holds a significant amount of favor with many shooters and professionals.

Taylor’s & Company FS Tactical 1911 Adds 10mm

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring this state-of-the-art firearm to the modern gun enthusiast,” said Tammy Loy, Owner/CEO, Taylor’s & Company. “We wanted to offer the 10mm version to broaden our audience in the 1911 market. The new 10mm 1911 FS Tactical is sure to be a very popular firearm with the 1911 crowd.”

The Taylor’s & Company FS (Full Size) Tactical comprises a modern take on the classic 1911 platform. It comes with several component upgrades, making it suited for everything from target shooting to duty or home defense. The 10mm model features an ambidextrous thumb safety, combat hammer and skeletonized trigger. For better control, the extended beavertail grip safety enables a high, tight grip. It also helps eliminate hammer or slide bite.

But the biggest highlight of this pistol for many centers on the 10mm chambering. The 10mm packs some serious punch, with eight-round capacity in this configuration. A Parkerized finish and custom G10 grips round out this affordable 1911 blaster.

The FS Tactical 10mm retails for $699. For even more info, please visit taylorsfirearms.com.

Editor’s Note:

The 10mm maintains a near cult following in certain circles, with many shooters preferring the hard-hitting 10 over lesser defensive rounds. Now chambered into a Armscor-produced Taylor’s & Company FS Tactical, it provides a wonderfully affordable option as well. We love it when companies come out with affordable blasters, as not everyone can procure a $4K 1911. So kudos to this effort and an interesting take on a 10mm 1911.
