Benelli Releases All-New ETHOS 12-Gauge Shotgun

The updated dynamic Inertia Driven System improves cycling speed, reliability and the ability to cycle loads from 7/8 oz. to 3-inch Magnums.

New ergonomic shape is angled outward for easy activation and operation even wearing gloves.

A beveled loading port, redesigned carrier and new two-part carrier latch allows shell to glide into the magazine.

Synthetic bushing incorporated into magazine cap prevents the cap from binding under all environmental conditions, including dust, dirt, moisture and freezing temperatures.

Benelli cryogenically treats barrels and choke tubes to increase pattern density.

The all-new Benelli ETHOS is a semiautomatic 12-gauge shotgun which incorporates technology such as the patented Inertia Driven system and the Progressive Comfort recoil reduction system for enhanced performance. To learn more about this shotgun, check out the video below.

Chambered for 2-3/4″ and 3″ shells, the Benelli ETHOS has improved ergonomics and the ability to cycle the lightest loads (even 7/8 ounce). According to a press release, the new design includes a patented easy locking system which features a detent mechanism added to the bolt body. The ETHOS also includes a two-part carrier latch for optimized loading, a larger bolt release, a replaceable carbon fiber rib on the 26 and 28-inch barrel which helps reduce the overall weight of the shotgun, an interchangeable front sight, an anti-seize magazine cap, and much more.

The Benelli ETHOS comes with either an engraved nickel-plated receiver or anodized receiver. The stock is cut from AA-Grade satin walnut. The MSRP for the nickel-plated option is $2,199. MSRP for the anodized option is $1,999.

Benelli also announced a nationwide tour where hunters in all 50 states will test the gun without a single cleaning.
