The year Browning updated their flagship X Bolt rifle platform. Their new X-Bolt 2 guns presented at SHOT included some high-end featured rifles costing in excess of 3K but the Hunter Composite TCB shown here will probably have a street price of around $1,000 and is still a very high quality, full featured, rifle. Its redesigned receiver has additional bolt guidance surfaces for smooth, fast cycling and a new spiral fluted bolt with a more ergonomic handle. The bolt has three lug lock up and a fast 60 degree throw. The barreled action beds to the stock, protected by a tough Tungsten Cerakote finish.

The free floated, light sporter contour barrel has M13x0.75 threading at the muzzle and a factory installed brake. The DLX Trigger offers zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel.
