Booze and Bullets – 2A Friendly Drinks

Yes, my friends, there are times when guns and alcohol mix. That time is when companies create gun-friendly brands and bottles for our enjoyment. While you should never drink and shoot, there is always time after the range. Today, we will take a short stroll down the adult beverage aisle and see who is catering to our sizable market—booze and Bullets – 2A-friendly drinks.

Booze and Bullets-Enjoy a 2A Friendly Drink

Booze and Bullets

We will kick the part off with one of the most striking parts of our collection. Doc Holliday 10-year-old straight bourbon whiskey gift set. This Bourbon pays tribute to the legendary figure, John Henry “Doc” Holliday, known for his role in the Wild West. The World Whiskey Society has meticulously crafted this spirit, ensuring it embodies the essence of quality and tradition. The 10-year aging process imparts a deep complexity, making it a sought-after choice for bourbon enthusiasts. Throw into that the eye-catching set includes not only the whiskey but a breakdown model revolver as well. It would make a great gift or addition to your collection.

Wyatt Earp

While we are on the theme of the Wild West, we need to include The Wyatt Earp American single malt whiskey. This is a tribute to Wyatt Earp, a legendary figure of the Wild West. Earp wasn’t your typical gunslinger; while accounts of his exploits may be embroidered with myth, there’s no denying his courage, loyalty, and unwavering spirit. This commemorative American single-malt whiskey pays tribute to Wyatt Earp for his bravery. The eye-catching part of this offering is the copy of the bottle that replicates a revolver cylinder complete with six rounds.

H. Deringer Bourbon

Booze and Bullets

The “cool” factor continues with the H. Deringer Bourbon—the exclusive Bourbon honors American gunsmith Henry Derringer. This Bourbon is aged in new charred white oak casks. This is also a minimal batch offering. Unmatched character and incredibly smooth. Silky smooth and aged in new charred white oak casks, this small batch bourbon offering from Deringer featured 2987 bottles in the first release. The H. Deringer bourbon comes in an exquisite crystal decanter. The offering is wrapped up with a Deringer stopper that dresses up the bottle quite nicely.

Cool decanters were once a big thing, and our next offering lives up to that. Revolver American Bourbon Whiskey Collector’s Edition. This Collector’s Edition Bourbon Whiskey is sure to bring a tasty shot to your taste buds! No, seriously. Each bottle is shaped like a revolver, so you are literally bringing a tasty shot to your taste buds! Each gun has four ceramic shotglasses. There is not much available on the whiskey itself, but the container is enough to get our attention.

Bravo Batch 2A Kentucky Bourbon

Bravo Batch

The last Bourbon in our round-up is Bravo Bourbon. Bravo Batch 2A Kentucky Bourbon is a classic American whiskey known for its smooth, sweet taste. This special edition Bravo Batch not only offers you a tasty Bourbon experience but also serves a larger cause. Every purchase directly contributes a portion of its proceeds to respected organizations such as Folds of Honor and the 2nd Amendment Foundation, with plans to include more in the future. Rounding out its gun-centric theme is a stopper adorned with rifle rounds.

Ammunition Wine

While we have touched on several whiskeys, there are some wines we need to look at as well. We begin with Ammunition Wine. Based out of Sonoma, California, Ammunition Wine started to support the complexity of cooked game. According to the company, these “wines [are]specifically crafted for sportsmen and outdoorsmen with an appreciation for adventure and the finer things in life.” The winery’s slogan is fitting: “Wines of the highest caliber.” According to co-founder Bill Kerr, a hunter and shooter himself, each of Ammunition’s three red wines is made “soft,” without too much wood or tannin but with lots of fruitiness and elegance. Ammunition has also added a Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, and chardonnay to its lineup. The cool coastal climate of Sonoma County is an ideal choice for this style of wine.

For our hunters, I present Gauge Wines. Two hunters and a salesman craft Gauge Wines of Napa Valley. According to the winery, they’re the guys on the road who make your kid say, “Mommy, why is Bullwinkle sleeping in that man’s truck?” or “Why doesn’t our car have a gun rack?” They add that Gauge Wines are “inspired by the meals you catch” and “the thrill of the hunt.” Gauge Wine bills its 12 Gauge Cabernet Sauvignon as the “drink of choice with any meal that’s met its demise as a worthy adversary.” Its 20 Gauge chardonnay was “inspired by fall mornings shrouded in fog, sitting in perfect stillness, waist deep in reeds.”

While it seems like an obvious statement, I will still say drink responsibly. But if you are going to drink, try to enjoy something that speaks to our shared gun culture.
