The Delica4 Knife is the Perfect Companion to Kahr's Compact Pistols

Kahr Firearms Group introduced the Kahr Spyderco Delica4 knife in January of this year. Created by self-defense authority Michael Janich, the Kahr Delica4 combines a full-length handle with a compact 2.5″ blade, making it legal in jurisdictions which have blade-length limitations. However, it does so without sacrificing leverage, control, or cutting power.

The Kahr Delica4 features a stonewashed VG-10 stainless steel blade with a smooth thumb ramp. When open, the blade is locked in place via the sturdy back lock mechanism, which includes a Boye Dent relief cut to prevent unintentional lock release. In addition, the Trademark Round Hole — which is found on all Spyderco blades — allows for quick one-handed opening. The blade thickness is .089″ and the edge length is 2.16″. This knife also has Bi-Directional Textured handle scales injection molded from fiberglass-reinforced nylon and skeletonized steel liners which reduce the knife’s overall weight to 2.5 ounces.

The Delica4 can be purchased at an MSRP of $99.00. It is available in three handle colors: Black, Khaki and Denim-Blue. Simply put, this is a perfect companion to Kahr’s compact pistols.

“Ultimately, the Kahr Delica4 faithfully captures all the detailed features of the knives I customized for my students, but offers the additional advantages of discreet urban camouflage handle colors and subdued clips, blades, and hardware,” Michael Janich said in a press release. “Perfect is a high standard and one that tempts people to stop trying, so I won’t say these knives are perfect. However, like my Kahr pistol, I will trust my life to them.”
