The heart of this new build centers on the premium, chome-lined, cold hammer-forged barrel. The collaboration between Diamondback and Knight’s Armament adds Knight’s proprietary chambered, rifled, and chrome-lined, cold hammer-forged barrel blank, known for its precision and strength. Diamondback then completes the profiling process and assembles the rifle.
“We’re thrilled to bring this collaboration to the market,” said Faith Denman, CEO at Diamondback Firearms. “This new rifle represents the perfect synergy of Diamondback’s value-packed line of DB15s and Knight’s Armament’s unparalleled barrel technology. It is built to perform under the most demanding conditions.”

Editor’s Take:
Smart move here by Diamondback, offering something unique through this collaboration with Knight’s Armament. Knight’s owns a very enviable reputation, dating back to the iconic RIS system employed by U.S. warfighters for decades. Now Diamondback leans on that institutional knowledge and experience to offer a build with upgraded components for a platform built to run.
