Introducing the new RM1C-COMP
Based on the proven and already flat-shooting RM1C platform, Rost Martin’s new RM1C-COMP features a match-grade, hammer-forged barrel and nitrocarburized slide with an integral single-port compensator to divert gas upwards for reduced muzzle rise and faster, more accurate shots on target.
RM1C-COMP Details
Designed with performance and ergonomics in mind, Rost Martin’s new RM1C-COMP may be the most fully featured striker-fired compact available. At the heart of the pistol’s performance is a flat-face trigger with an extra-short reset, consistently crisp break, and a trigger pull weight of just under five pounds. Paired with the excellent RM1C trigger, a ported four-inch match-grade barrel with recessed crown ensures exceptional precision and accuracy with enhanced recoil management.
The slide is optic-ready and an RMR mounting plate is included, with mounting plates for other popular
red-dot optics available for sale on Rost Martin’s website. Steel sights are standard and slide-top antiglare serrations ensure they are easy to find and align in bright sunlight. Deep slide serrations front and rear provide for a sure grip in all conditions.
Fully ambidextrous with slide and magazine releases on both sides, the RM1C-COMP also features Responsive Grip Texture™ designed to “grip-back” as pressure is applied. Textured index points on both sides of the frame aid in recoil management and “driving the gun”, a funneled magazine well facilitates faster reloads, the extended beavertail promotes a high grip for recoil management, and modular back straps allow for customization to fit any hand size.
The RM1C-Comp ships standard with a flush-fit 15-round magazine and a 17-round extended magazine.
