Ammo Change: FBI Switching Back To 9mm Rounds
More recently, the Federal Bureau of Investigation announced that it would be switching back to the 9mm round.
The FBI used the round until a 1980s shootout with a suspect that left two agents dead. The Bureau cited penetration as a major problem with the round, but current technology has the FBI thinking otherwise.
