Leupold and Gunwerks have teamed up to deliver The Accountant, a limited-edition rifle system that embodies discretion and power. Designed to fit securely in a briefcase, this integrally suppressed, compact, take-down rifle system allows you to be decisive anywhere without drawing unwanted attention.

Every aspect of The Accountant showcases meticulous attention to detail. The Skunkwerks logo stands out prominently on the chassis and windage of the Leupold Mark 5HD 2-10x30mm scope, emphasizing this limited-edition build. The 35mm detachable rings allow for quick removal of the scope, though you can keep it attached for transport in the briefcase. The JTAC chassis features a collapsible stock, providing a slim form that extends effortlessly for use.

Integrally Suppressed

The Accountant’s 17.5” barrel gets intricately machined from a full-diameter piece of 416R stainless steel. The 6” baffle stack gets meticulously cut to manage gases, while the titanium sleeve channels gases internally down the entire length of the barrel. This process effectively suppresses noise levels to a manageable ~140dB, ensuring quiet authority in the field. Its collapsing stock maintains a sleek profile of just 3 inches at its widest point, which is more compact compared to bulkier folding stock designs.

The entire system fits into a compact kit measuring just 17.5” x 12.75” x 3” and weighs 9.5 pounds, making it easy to carry and deploy. Gunwerks chose the .308 Win for its optimal performance with an effective barrel length of just 11.5”. In partnership with the Federal Custom Shop, they developed a custom round specifically made for this rifle. The result is a load that gives great performance using a 175-grain Terminal Ascent bullet.

Paired with the Leupold Mark 5HD 2-10x30mm with PR1-MOA reticle, The Accountant delivers remarkable accuracy, hitting targets at 500 yards.
