For more than 150 years, the lever action platform has been tweaked and tuned in the pursuit of sporting perfection. Thanks to advancements in materials, engineering know-how, and manufacturing capabilities, incremental progress was made in small steps. However, until now, the action has remained relatively unchanged. Starting with a blank sheet of paper and all the cutting-edge manufacturing machinery one could wish for, Henry engineers set out to rewrite the script for this time-honored action. The result? The Henry Lever Action Supreme Rifle.

Henry Lever Action Supreme – For the Modern Cowboy
“The Lever Action Supreme Rifle is a testament to our commitment to innovation and pushing boundaries while preserving the soul of the platform that brought us to the dance,” said Andy Wickstrom, President of Henry Repeating Arms. “With several patent-pending advancements, we’ve created a rifle that propels the lever action into the future.”
Available in .223 Rem/5.56 NATO and .300 Blackout, the LASR represents the culmination of over 150 years of lever-action evolution. At its heart lies a patent-pending quad bar linkage and slider crank mechanism that creates a smooth action. This action drives a bolt with a multi-lug rotating face for positive lockup, extraction, and ejection. Thanks to the internal hammer design, all moving parts are sealed off from the elements when the action is closed to keep out dust, dirt, and debris and keep the rifle running like a top while it’s by your side out in the field.

Sub MOA Performance
The Lever Action Supreme Rifle sports a free-floated blued steel barrel. It is fully capable of delivering sub-MOA groups, depending on the cartridge and conditions. The .223/5.56 variant features an 18″ barrel, and the .300 BLK version opts for a shorter 16.5″ barrel. The Supreme’s match-grade 4-pound trigger ensures consistency from shot to shot. It is also user-adjustable with a 1-pound range using the included hex key. Due to the lack of a gas system, lever actions make fantastic suppressor hosts, so the muzzle is threaded to accept your chosen device.

Henry Lever Action Supreme has great sights as well. The patent-pending trapezoidal rear sight is fully adjustable for windage and elevation using the tool that adjusts the trigger pull weight. A steel front blade completes a natural, precise, and quick-to-acquire sight picture. Should you opt for a magnified or digitally assisted sight picture instead, the aerospace-grade aluminum receiver is drilled and tapped to accept an optics base.

Henry Lever Action Supreme
The Supreme features genuine American Walnut stocks cut with diamond checkering. For carry and comfort afield, factory-sling swivel studs and a solid rubber recoil pad are pre-installed. The rifle has ambidextrous controls, including the tang safety switch and patent-pending magazine release. Reaching your thumb up to decock the hammer is second nature to those with prior experience with the Henry product catalog.
Out of the box, the Henry Lever Action Supreme includes a 10-round Magpul PMAG with a 5-round limiter to comply with hunting regulations in certain parts of the country. For those who favor reloading less at the range, additional capacity is available using MSR-style magazines. The Supreme’s use of a detachable box magazine eliminates the bullet restrictions inherent to tube magazine designs. Henry plans on adding other calibers to this line soon!
