Military Armament Corp (MAC) just announced the release of its latest pistol, the MAC 9 Double Stack D Comp. The company’s latest 1911, built by Tisas and marketed by SDS Arms, features a new slide cut and barrel design with a built-in compensator and an extended slide stop.
MAC 9 Double Stack D Comp
The Double Stack D Comp comes with an adjustable skeletonized trigger design. A polymer grip module with a subtle, firm grip texture aids in purchase. Chambered in 9mm, the MAC 9 Double Stack D Comp features a 4.9-inch bull barrel. It comes with a QPA Tenifer finish and an 11-degree target crown, keeping recoil at a minimum and promoting accuracy.
The build utilizes a 4140 hammer forged steel Tenifer QPQ coated slide and frame. A skeletonized trigger delivers overtravel adjustment and 4.75-pound pull weight. The black front sight employs serrations. Meanwhile, an Agency Arms, RMR-pattern optic cut enables mounting a red dot.
The MAC 9 DS D Comp ships with two magazines, cleaning kit, cable lock, an extra mainspring retainer pin, and lockable hard case. Pistol MSRP is $1,079.99.
