The Pistol Mask Holster: Looks Like a Cell Phone, But It’s Not

5 Stone Products, a company based out of Austin, Texas, are coming out with a new concealed carry holster designed to look like a cell phone, complete with camera lens, speaker, volume buttons & power plug. Say hello to the Pistol Mask.

Injection-molded of glass-filled Noryl, the innovative Pistol Mask uses magnets to keep the included panels securely closed, and spring-loaded hinges for a quick opening when you need instant access to your firearm. It’s designed for subcompacts that are up to 1.05 inches thick and 4.65 inches in height. A gripping fabric uses spacers to custom fit each pistol while doing away with the need for a tell-tale belt clip.

“The Pistol Mask was born from my desire to carry a .45 caliber pistol in an office environment without having to wear my shirttail out,” said Mark Hogue, owner of 5 Stone Products and inventor of the Pistol Mask. “Wearing a coat all day during the Texas summertime is impractical, and the other options available do not allow me instant, one-handed access while sitting at my desk, in a restaurant booth or buckled in my car.”

Designed for IWB concealment, the unique Pistol Mask covers the gun’s grip and sports a unique tiered design (the back section is narrower than the front) that makes it appear too thin to be holding a high-powered firearm. The two-tone color combination adds to the illusion, as the front is black, while the back section is gray. Black is a popular choice for smart phone cases, while the gray back section blends into light-to-medium shirt colors.

The Pistol Mask can accommodate models from Glock, Sig Sauer, Springfield, Beretta, Ruger, SCCY, Walther, Smith & Wesson, Kahr, Kel-Tec, Kimber and Taurus. It’s due out in June 2017 and will retail for $129.
