MPX: Sig Sauer’s Revolutionary 9mm Pistol-Caliber Carbine

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lm93fuSQvbU&feature=youtu.be

Sig Sauer’s latest MPX comes with some enhanced features that recommend it as a truly versatile pistol-caliber carbine. With a 30+1 capacity and engineered versatility for factory options, it is ready to adapt to a range of missions—including firing suppressed.

The MPX 9mm features a collapsible, twin-rail-style stock and is capable of accepting several other Sig Sauer stocks. The standard KeyMod handguard comes with a hand stop to keep your hand from slipping forward of the muzzle. The handguard boasts five slick-sided surfaces that are relieved for KeyMod accessory attachment, and it’s topped with a full-length Picatinny top rail for mounting optics and the factory-included sights.

The cam path reinforcements and fixed ejector combine to ensure that the bolt, even traveling at its fastest speeds with high-velocity ammunition or when working with suppressors, is able to eject each spent cartridge properly before closing on the next round.

Ambidextrous controls on the lower receiver are familiar in their position to those on a modern sporting rifle, enhancing cross-platform familiarity, and include an ambidextrous bolt release, mag release and safety/selector.
