Sig Sauer SIGM400 Predator: The SIGM400 Predator is a precision rifle designed for long-range shooting and small-game hunting. It features a heavy-contour, stainless steel barrel and a free-floating handguard. A two-stage match trigger ensures the SIGM400 Predator is ready for the field right out of the box.
Sig Sauer SIG516 Patrol: The SIG516 series of rifles is what may be considered the next generation of 5.56mm NATO carbines. The SIG516 features a gas piston operating system and a four-position gas regulator. This makes the SIG516 ideal for users that typically see high round counts or use a sound suppressor on a regular basis. Eight different configurations of the SIG516 are available, including three 16-inch-barreled models, SBRs with 10- and 14.5-inch barrels, and a super-short PDW model with a 7.5-inch barrel. The standard SIG516 Patrol comes with Sig’s own pistol grip and adjustable stock.
Sig Sauer SIG716 Patrol: The SIG716 is the .308 Winchester/ 7.62mm NATO version of the SIG516, and, like its 5.56mm counterpart, the SIG716 is available in a number of configurations, including Patrol, Designated Marksman and CQB versions. The latter model has a 12-inch barrel for maneuvering in tight quarters.
Sig Sauer MPX Carbine: One of the most exciting rifles is the MPX Carbine. The MPX is best described as an updated version of the classic MP5 submachine gun. It’s chambered in 9mm and fires from a closed bolt utilizing a short-stroke piston operating system. The MPX is also a modular design similar to the MCX, so users can easily change out the barrel, stock and handguard as needed. The MPX Carbine comes with a 16-inch barrel, but it can also accept 4.5-, 6.5- and 8-inch barrels with appropriate modular handguards. Select-fire MPXs are available for qualified users. For the rest of us, the pistol version, the MPX-P, or the 16-inch-barreled MPX Carbine offer plenty of firepower.
Sig Sauer MCX Carbine: The flagship of Sig Sauer’s carbine line is the MCX. The MCX is a modular carbine that is a dramatic improvement over the standard AR-15. Its modularity allows the end-user to change barrels, handguards, stocks and calibers in a matter of minutes with only a torque wrench. The MCX is currently available in 5.56mm NATO, 300 Blackout and 7.62x39mm. The major bearing surfaces, including the cam path, feed ramp and charging handle latch points are reinforced for extended surface life. In addition, these points can be removed and replaced by the user in the field. And, like the aforementioned series, several variants of the MCX are available. The MCX Carbine comes in 5.56mm NATO with a 16-inch barrel, a skeletonized folding stock and a KeyMod-compatible handguard.
