Following up Wednesday’s announcement of the availability of a Flat Dark Earth color tone for the M1A rifle and XD-S 3.3″ pistol, Springfield Armory is now introducing an XD(M) 4.5″ threaded barrel pistol in .45 ACP and 9mm. The .45 ACP model will be available in a black finish, while the threaded barrel 9mm is only available in a Flat Dark Earth finish. These pistols are set to come out on June 6, 2015.

“This is the first threaded barrel offering that we’ve released for our production pistols,” Chad Dyer, Marketing Director at Springfield Armory, said in a press release. “As more states legalize suppressors, we want to offer an affordable solution that caters to the growing demographic of suppressor users.”
