Day 2 of SHOT Show brings us an updated fighting pistol. The Stoeger STR-9 Combat SX updates the popular STR-9 Combat line, delivering a fighting pistol with a practical, straight grip design, heavily stippled for all scenarios.
Stoeger STR-9 Combat SX
The Combat SX features an aggressive backstrap for improved weapon control and retention. A recessed thumb shelf and serrated memory pads assist in repeatable hand positioning to boost accuracy potential, promoting muscle memory.
The theme of practical function extends to the slide. It features deeper serrations for quick, positive manipulation. Ambidextrous slide release levers aid weak-hand operation. A beveled mag well promotes fast reloading. The gun ships with three magazines, including one 17-round mag with a flush base plate and two extended 20-round mags.
Additional features include an accessory rail mount to accommodate a tactical light or laser. Suppressor-height front and rear fiber-optic sights with rear sight adjustability. An optic cut with two mounting plates enable direct mounting of a red dot. A threaded barrel accommodates suppressor use or an aftermarket muzzle device.
The Combat SX also comes in a unique color. This model features a Smoked Bronze Cerakote on the slide and frame. It contrasts with a black barrel, trigger and operational controls.
The STR-9 Combat SX retails for $699. For more info, visit StoegerIndustries.com.
