The new Watchtower Type 10 SPEC OPS brings an AR-10-style rifle built for long-range precision accuracy. And now it comes to the public at a 15-percent savings, with the MSRP reduced down to $1,402.49.
Watchtower Type 10 SPEC OPS Details
The Type 10 SPEC OPS is based on the DPMS high-profile pattern. The build utilizes high-grade 7075-T6511 billet aluminum. The fire control upgrade adds the Hiperfire EDT2 Heavy Gunnar single-stage, LE/SWAT trigger.
A Tru-Black PVD coating protects the 7.62x51mm NATO MPI-tested Durabolt bolt carrier group. The 18-inch .308 stainless steel barrel utilizes a 1:8 rifling and incorporates a mid-length gas system. A 15-inch S7M free-floating handguard includes M-LOK attachment slots at five positions. Meanwhile, four QD points and a full-length Picatinny rail add utility. Watchtower’s Dragon Slay-AR compensating muzzle brake helps mitigate recoil and comes finished in a Tru-black PVD coating. A B5 Systems pistol grip and buttstock round out the build.
