XS Big Dot Sights Provide Low-Light Target Acquisition for Shotguns

Shotguns make great self-defense firearms, but many folks don’t realize the importance of shotgun sights. Sure, scatterguns spread shot, but you still have to aim them to be effective. However, beads can be small and difficult to see in low light, which is the benefit of the XS Big Dot sights for shotguns.

Available in tritium and non-tritium models, Big Dot sights provide fast target acquisition in all all lighting conditions. Also, the larger size allow shooters to know that the sights are on target when needed.

“The size and brightness of our new XS Big Dot Shotgun Beads allow the user to index the muzzle much faster, and this is critical in high-stress home defense situations when every second counts,” said Zack Kinsley, Marketing Manager for XS Sights. “We incorporated our proprietary glow technology into these Big Dot Shotgun Beads to transform them into the brightest sights in any lighting condition.”

XS Big Dot Sights — Tritium

XS produces two versions of the XS Big Dot Tritium shotgun sights. One fits the pedestal mount for Remington shotguns, while the other attaches to plain-barrel models, such as Mossberg shotguns. Shooters can choose between Optic Yellow or Optic Orange. The glow dot on both absorbs light and glows in low light levels before it is dark enough to see the tritium.

XS Big Dot Sights — Ember

The Ember Big Dot sights also fit both Remington and Mossberg shotguns in both in Optic Yellow or Optic Orange. The company’s proprietary glow technology gives the non-tritium Ember Big Dot a significant performance advantage over fiber optic sights or brass beads in low light conditions. Additionally, the larger size helps with faster target acquisition.

The company claims that Optic Yellow is the best option for low light and has the brightest glow intensity. Optic Orange is the best for bright light settings and offers high glow intensity.

The sights are available for $66 for the Tritium versions and $39 for the Ember. XS Sights backs all of these shotgun sights with a 10-year, No-Questions-Asked Warranty.
