The new Zero Tolerance 0180 is a smaller and lighter fixed blade knife designed to handle tough duty. It is based on the Fieldtac knife by Rick Hinderer.
The primary material for the blade is Vanadis 4 Extra powder mettalurgical cold work steel, which is designed for hard use and offers good wear resistance to chipping and cracking. Additionally, the steel is suitable for coating, which Zero Tolerance does with Tungsten DLC non-reflective coating.
