Competition Shooting

When it comes to competition shooting, there are a few things to keep in mind. First and foremost, safety is always the number one priority. Secondly, have fun and enjoy the experience. Competition shooting can be done with a variety of different firearms, but the most common are pistols and rifles. There are many different types of competitions out there. There are those that focus on speed and accuracy, to more creative events that test a shooter’s ability to think on their feet. No matter what type of competition you’re interested in, there’s something for everyone. This is a great way to meet other shooters and get involved in the competitive shooting community.
There are many different competitive shooting disciplines to choose from. If you’re looking for a challenge, then IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) or ICORE (International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts) may be for you. If you want to test your accuracy, then precision rifle shooting or cowboy action shooting might be more your style. For those who like a bit of everything, there are always 3-gun or tactical games.
There is no shortage of competition shooting events out there and Tactical Life, Ballistic, and Personal Defense World work hard to ensure we cover all of them.
