S&W Lipsey’s Exclusives: Ultra EDC & Mountain Guns

Smith & Wesson just released four new wheelguns, offering equal parts improved everyday carry wilderness protection. These S&W Lipsey’s Exclusives bring updated versions of the timeless J, L and N-Frame revolvers.

First, the EDC crowd gets two alternate versions of the Model 632-UC Ti. This performance-based defensive, J-Frame revolver comes chambered in .32 H&R Mag. It features a six-round capacity. A lightweight titanium cylinder and aluminum alloy frame drastically reduces with for maximum comfort when carrying. The build includes a 1.88-inch barrel fitted with a bright dot tritium front sight and a black U-notch rear sight, both regulated for use with commonly available ammunition.

The Model 632-UC Ti utilizes an upgraded endurance package, improving both performance and durability. Its chamfered charge holes allow for easy loading. Smith & Wesson offers two versions, in a black or silver finish. Both come with a textured grip, allowing for enhanced control and comfort when shooting.

The two remaining releases include the finely-crafted Model 686-Plus and Model 629 Mountain Guns. The L-Frame 686-Plus is an all stainless-steel constructed, 7-shot revolver, chambered in .357 Magnum/38 Special +P. It includes a 4.13-inch barrel with a patridge-style brass bead front sight and adjustable rear sight for improved sight acquisition. The second variant, the Model 629, is a 6-shot N-Frame chambered in .44 Magnum/.44 Special. Similar to the Model 686-Plus, it shares the same all-stainless-steel construction, a 4.13-inch barrel, brass bead front and adjustable rear sights, and a high-grade walnut Bear Hug grip from Tyler Gun Works.
